GMR Hyderabad International Airport (GHIAL) and Air India Express announce the launch of new flight services between Phuket and Hyderabad, enhancing international connectivity for travellers. The inaugural flight on the route took off marked by a celebratory event organised by GMR and the airline, where the first guests were presented with commemorative boarding cards. Air India Express will operate three weekly flights on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. From 15th February 2025, the frequency will increase to six weekly flights.

One of our brand-new aircraft proudly features a Kalamkari-inspired livery, celebrating the artistic traditions of Telugu-speaking people. As we continue to grow, our focus remains on creating meaningful connections, enhancing accessibility, and delivering the warmth of Indian hospitality to our guests. With over 210 weekly flights connecting Hyderabad to 20 domestic and four international destinations, we look forward to further strengthening our presence and expanding travel opportunities for our guests”
