AB Jets has launched a bold new chapter with the delivery of its first Bombardier Challenger 3500 aircraft. This milestone event, celebrated by the Memphis-based private charter company, supplements its existing fleet of nine Learjet 60 aircraft. Hailed as a new flagship, the super mid-size business jet is the first of three Challenger 3500s set to join the AB Jets fleet, significantly expanding options for its clients.

Andrew Bettis, President of AB Jets, described the delivery as representing the company’s future, emphasizing the jet’s ability to provide more comfort, extended range, and an uncompromising focus on safety and reliability. David Turner, Co-Owner and Director of Operations, praised Bombardier for delivering an “aircraft of absolute perfection,” pledging to maintain it to the same high standard.

According to Jean-Christophe Gallagher, Executive Vice President at Bombardier, the Challenger 3500 will provide a best-in-class business aviation experience. He noted that adding this aircraft to the AB Jets fleet would open up countless new charter destination options for customers. The jet is renowned for its unparalleled comfort and luxury, integrating design and technology innovations like Bombardier’s patented Nuage seat.

The Challenger 3500 is a leader in purposeful technology, introducing several industry-first features within its advanced cabin management system. These include voice-control, unmatched 4K entertainment, first-in-class wireless chargers, and a true bring-your-own-device cabin philosophy. For AB Jets, a trusted partner known for its supplemental lift services to brokers and flight departments, the addition of this aircraft enhances its role as a dependable contingency plan during peak demand periods, solidifying its reputation for consistent reliability.
