SalamAir has appointed Eng. Yaqoob bin Saif bin Hamoud Al Kiyumi as Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2026.
The Omani airline stated that the appointment marks a new chapter in its development as it continues to pursue its strategic priorities, with a focus on sustainable growth, operational excellence, and an enhanced customer experience.
Al Kiyumi will lead SalamAir through its next phase of development, building on the airline’s existing foundations while supporting its continued growth and commitment to providing affordable and accessible air travel. His leadership will also focus on strengthening SalamAir’s role within Oman’s aviation sector and expanding connectivity between the Sultanate and international markets.
SalamAir stated that it remains committed to its long-term vision and to supporting the development of Oman’s aviation and tourism sectors in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
