Ukrainian defense manufacturer Skyeton and French next-generation defense prime Harmattan AI have announced a strategic partnership to integrate advanced military sensor technology with the battle-proven Raybird unmanned aerial system (UAS). This collaboration is designed to accelerate the Raybird’s adoption in global markets, including key NATO allies, by combining Ukrainian engineering with European industrialization expertise.

The partnership leverages Skyeton’s nearly two decades of experience in unmanned aviation and the Raybird platform, which has accumulated over 350,000 combat flight hours with Ukrainian defense forces. Harmattan AI contributes its proven approach to autonomous, scalable intelligent robotics systems and its unique portfolio of sensors. Together, the companies will enhance the platform’s AI-powered capabilities for mission-critical operations, from deep reconnaissance and border monitoring to disaster response.

Pavlo Shevchuk, International CEO of Skyeton, stated the collaboration demonstrates a commitment to working with trusted allies to address modern security challenges, thereby reinforcing Europe’s defense capabilities. Mouad M’Ghari, CEO of Harmattan AI, echoed this, noting the partnership equips allied forces with scalable and autonomous capabilities, contributing to the security of Europe and the strength of NATO forces.

This strategic step underscores a shared commitment to strengthening defense cooperation across Europe. By integrating cutting-edge technology with a proven, versatile UAS platform, the alliance offers governments and armed forces a reliable, scalable solution for modern defense challenges, fostering innovation in unmanned systems deployment and supporting collective security efforts.
