Rolls-Royce Adds AviLease to Newly Launched LessorCare+.

by Jesmitha

In a strategic move underscoring its commitment to the leasing sector, Rolls-Royce  has announced the signing of a pivotal agreement with Saudi Arabian lessor AviLease for its innovative LessorCare+ programme. This partnership, formalised at the Dubai Airshow, marks the second major customer secured since the programme’s high-profile launch just last month, signaling strong early market traction.

The LessorCare+ initiative represents a significant evolution in Rolls-Royce’s customer support framework, tailored specifically for the unique and complex challenges faced by aircraft leasing companies. It moves beyond traditional engine maintenance, offering a holistic suite of services designed to optimise an asset’s entire lifecycle.

Elevating Asset Intelligence and Agility

At its core, LessorCare+ provides lessors with unprecedented data-driven insights and enhanced support across four key pillars: lease transactions, fleet management, engine transitions, and dedicated technical expertise. The programme leverages Rolls-Royce’s unparalleled engine data and market intelligence to give lessors a more granular, real-time view of their engine portfolios. This empowers them to make faster, more informed decisions, from lease negotiations and redelivery conditions to long-term fleet planning.

Rob Watson, President of Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace, highlighted the strategic importance of the AviLease partnership: “Securing AviLease as a partner for LessorCare+ is a powerful endorsement of our strategy. It demonstrates a shared vision for how data and deep technical collaboration can de-risk operations and enhance asset value. In a dynamic market, lessors require more than just support—they need a strategic partner who can provide the insights and agility to boost their competitiveness. That is precisely what LessorCare+ delivers.”

A Strategic Response to Market Demands

The aviation leasing market demands exceptional flexibility and efficiency, with engines frequently moving between operators and across global jurisdictions. LessorCare+ is engineered to streamline these complex transitions, reducing downtime and administrative burdens. By offering a more predictable cost model and proactive asset management, the programme aims to improve the total cost of ownership for lessors while supporting stronger residual values for Rolls-Royce powered aircraft.

The collaboration with AviLease, a relatively new yet rapidly expanding player backed by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, is particularly significant. It indicates that LessorCare+ is resonating with a broad spectrum of the leasing community, from established giants to ambitious new entrants seeking a competitive edge.

This latest agreement solidifies Rolls-Royce’s position as a pivotal enabler in the leasing ecosystem, transitioning from a pure-play engine manufacturer to a comprehensive service and intelligence partner dedicated to the financial and operational success of its lessor customers.
