Can you brief us about your journey to our readers since you took over the business at the early age?
I stepped into the role of leader in 2004 after my father’s unexpected passing when I was just 23. At that time, I was pursuing my MBA, while my father was building an aerospace company with the ambitious vision of establishing Raghu Vamsi as a globally respected name in precision manufacturing. Tragically, his dream was cut short by a cancer diagnosis during the company’s construction phase, and he passed away at the age of 47, leaving me with the responsibility of realizing his vision, which was his final wish.
With God’s grace and his blessings, we have been striving to fulfill that dream. Since 2004, our team has expanded from just 10 employees to over 1,000 today.
This journey has been incredibly rewarding, marked by hard work, determination, and unwavering belief in the vision our founder set forth, all while upholding the values and principles he instilled. Over the past 20 years, we have evolved from a component manufacturer to a supplier for HAL and now export critical products to major global OEMs. Additionally, we’ve enhanced our manufacturing capabilities through joint ventures with renowned companies such as Rolls Royce (UK), Adani (India), and Rave Gears (USA). Today, we are developing advanced products like micro turbo jet aero engines, robots, and UAVs for the defense sector.

We specialize in high-precision manufacturing across three main areas:
Critical products and sub-assemblies for global aerospace engine clients, including GE Aerospace, Rolls-Royce, Pratt and Whitney, Honeywell, Safran, and Boeing.
Assemblies and sections for propulsion systems and thrust vector systems used in missiles and rockets for Indian defense organizations such as DRDO, HAL, ISRO, and BDL.
Advanced technology products, including unmanned guided vehicles, loitering munitions, gun simulators, and micro turbojet aero engines designed for UAVs and missiles, serving the Indian Armed Forces—Army, Navy, and Air Force.

From the outset, our vision has been clear: to establish ourselves as one of the most respected Aerospace and Defense companies globally.

Our roadmap focuses on creating a sustainable, customer & employee-centric organization with manufacturing facilities worldwide.
Over the next five years, we aspire to employ more than 10,000 people while maintaining a compound annual growth rate of 40 to 50%.

Which areas do you think India could do well in coming years?
As an Aerospace and Defence entrepreneur, I believe India is poised for significant advancements in several key areas in the coming years:
Indigenous Manufacturing: With initiatives like “Make in India,” we are likely to see a strong push toward domestic production of aircraft, drones, and defense systems. This not only enhances self-reliance but also reduces dependence on foreign suppliers. I feel atleast 100 Billion Dollar Private companies will emerge out of India from this space in the next 5 to 10 years
Space Exploration: India’s space program, particularly with ISRO’s ambitious projects, is set to make substantial progress. Future missions, including lunar and interplanetary explorations, will position India as a leader in space technology and applications.

To young entrepreneurs, I always emphasize that having the right intent and passion, coupled with sincere effort, will align the universe to help you achieve your dreams.

The youthful workforce, fueled by the “Make in India” initiative and the global shift of manufacturing from China to India, presents tremendous opportunities. These prospects are here to stay and will drive India’s growth story over the next 10 to 15 years.
Now is an excellent time to be an entrepreneur committed to your vision. However, patience is essential in this industry. Aerospace demands a high level of trust and quality, and products require significant time to develop and validate. It’s crucial to maintain focus and resist the temptation for quick returns. A minimum of 3 to 5 years is often necessary to navigate the initial stages of systems and processes, technology, and product development. Once you establish yourself, the industry will offer long-term contracts and significant growth potential.
